Union Jack Corset

 I started this a while ago, then put it aside. I found it recently, and decided to finish it. This is made from a flag I bought in London a few years ago. The flag is attached to a layer of cotton drill, and the whole corset is lined with gold velvet. The edges are bound with blue bias tape.
 There are 18 eyelets in the back. You can see that it doesn't quite line up.
Here's the back of the corset on the reverse side. You can see the stitch lines: the gold material has channels sewn through it and the layer off cotton drill. I used an Elizabethan corset pattern, found here
